Knowing how to grow Rare Seeds in Stardew Valley is a surefire way of making plenty of Gold.

With the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley live, obtaining Rare Seeds can prove tricky due to their rare nature. Despite this, finding them and growing them is worth the search as it can become a lucrative venture.

Where to find Stardew Valley Rare Seeds

Before any kind of growing commences, you'll need to get your hands on the Rare Seeds. Instead of heading to JojaMart or Pierre's General Store, you can find Rare Seeds on the Traveling Cart in Cindersap Forest.

Like other elements of Stardew Valley, Rare Seeds are only available for a limited time. Fridays and Sundays are the only time the Cart will sell the seeds so act quickly if you plan on stocking up.

During the Spring, the Cart will stock anywhere between one and five Rare Seeds but during the Winter, there's only a 2% chance of finding them.

How to grow Stardew Valley Rare Seeds

The process of growing the Rare Seeds in Stardew Valley is extremely straightforward. Simply plant it like all of the other crops and keep it watered every day.

Rare Seeds take 24 days to grow and you can utilise some fertiliser or the Agriculturist bonus to reduce the length of time it takes. It's worth noting that the seeds should be planted in the Fall.
