The 1.6 update for Stardew Valley introduced a wealth of new features ranging from a Bookseller to the points which grant even more benefits for reaching the highest level of a particular skill.

How to earn Stardew Valley Mastery Points

The process of earning Mastery Points in Stardew Valley is extremely straightforward. Once you've managed to master a skill, earn experience in a skill. The experience earned is tracked in the Mastery Bar on your character page and once it's full, you'll earn a Mastery Point.

It's worth noting that you can still earn Mastery Points even if you've not mastered all five skills. Unfortunately, you won't be able to spend them until the door of the secret room is opened.

Mastery Points are an excellent way to earn EXP points for skills you've already mastered. It also adds an additional incentive to continue replaying the game and to redeem all of the rewards on offer.

Stardew Valley Cindersap Forest secret room location

The secret room where you can redeem Mastery Points is within the Cindersap Forest. The door to the room is located underneath Leah's Cottage inside a hill. Once all five skills have been mastered, you can enter the room and start spending the Points.

There are plenty of rewards on offer by spending the Mastery Points earned. Ranging from the Heavy Furnace to the Iridium Scythe, there's plenty of choice.
