How to kill Mogu Troll in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Trolls are feared due to their sheer size and brute strength. Most of the Mogu Troll’s attacks are fortunately blockable, but it has a grab move you can't avoid, denoted by the red highlight around its body as soon as the attack animation begins.
With that in mind, you can take on the troll and kill it, as long as you remember his possible attacks.
Option 1 - Use Parry to Break the Troll’s stamina
Parry is one of the most reliable combat mechanics in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. If you time your block right when the enemy attack is about to connect, you can deflect the attack, dealing damage to the enemy’s stamina/block meter. The parrying mechanic works great against the Mogu Troll.
The attacks of Mogu Troll are well-telegraphed, and you have a large window to react and parry. Stick close to the troll and break its stamina bar down gradually. Once it's depleted, execute your flurry of attacks to chip away at its HP. Rinse and repeat until you manage to kill the Mogu Troll.
Option 2 - Use Mogu Troll’s grab attack against it
When you see the Mogu Troll’s body highlighted in red, you should back away and dodge its unblockable attack. However, there’s one unblockable grab attack you can exploit. You can allow yourself to be grabbed by the attack, and quickly mash the attack button to chop off the Mogu troll’s limbs.
You'll take a small amount of damage from the grab, however, cutting off its limbs would deal massive damage in return.
