Sgt Winter in Fortnite location
Finding Sgt Winter can be tricky, especially since you need to complete some quests before unlocking the ability to find him on the Fortnite island.
You'll find him at the small island marked in the map below:
Once you reach the location, speak to Stg Winter and he'll drop a giant present box from where you'll be able to collect an item, thus completing the quest and earning 15,000 XP as a reward, plus whatever items you might find inside the gift box.
Why isn't Sgt Winter showing up in Fortnite?
If you were trying to find him as soon as the quests dropped, there was actually a bug or rather a mistake by Epic Games - they forgot to activate the NPC, making it impossible to find Sgt Winter in Fortnite.
The issue has now been fixed, but even then some Fortnite players are wondering why he's not showing up. That's because you have to finish the previous set of quests. These involve finding some lost presents, leading up to fighting Krampus.
So essentially, beat Krampus and the new set of quests involving Sgt Winter should appear.
