How to Get Moment of Reflection Commendation

You can get the Moment of Reflection Commendation as soon as you find your first Outpost in Sea of Thieves. Luckily, your character wakes up on an Outpost at the very beginning of the game so you can get this Commendation immediately.

All you need to do is to walk outside and find a nearby dock. Walk up to the edge of the dock and you'll see a prompt to “Take a seat.” Press the button to take a seat there. Note that you can use any dock in the game to unlock the Moment of Reflection.

You'll get the Moment of Reflection Commendation if you're sitting at a dock during the sunset. If you're confused about the time of the sunset, the sun sets at around 8 pm in-game time, so make sure you're ready.

Moment of Reflection Reward

Completing the Moment of Reflection Commendation allows you to unlock the Party Boat Eyepatch for purchase. It will become available at the General Clothing Store for 3,050 Gold and you can equip it immediately.
