Rise of the Ronin release date
Fortunately, of the 40+ announcements at the Game Awards this year, Rise of the Ronin was one of the few that was happy to reveal a concrete release date to eager fans. During the announcement trailer, it was revealed that Rise of the Ronin would become available on PlayStation 5 on March 22, 2024. Here's a handy little countdown to help you keep track of release day.

Unfortunate news for PC and Xbox enthusiasts, but according to the official game page on the PlayStation website, Rise of the Ronin is a PlayStation exclusive. Given how fierce the console wars have been, it seems very unlikely that we'll be seeing the samurai action-adventure title on anything but a PS5 in the foreseeable future.
It is also worth noting that Rise of the Ronin will only be exclusive on PS5, so those with an earlier-gen console won't get the chance to test their skills with a blade in 19th-century Japan. Given they're not even making the game available for PS4, a PC and Xbox release seems even less likely.
