Palpagos Island is a ridiculously large place to explore. If you're just starting and have died once, you might think you understand the scope of this place, but it's not even half the story. The actual map size is massive, and getting around can be a daunting task. That's why knowing how to fast travel in Palworld is so important.

Due to its setting as a survival exploration game, every step you take away from the safety of your Palworld base could spell doom. This is why you need to ensure you are close to backup measures, such as fast travel, at all times before you lose all your equipment in a far-off and isolated location.

Once you know how to fast travel, be sure to check out all the regions in Palworld with our map guide and how to ride Pals to get to places quickly.

How to fast travel in Palworld

There are three primary methods of fast travel that you can use in Palworld. It's worth noting that you can't just fast-travel anywhere or on top of overworld boss locations.

Fast travel points

The most common method of Palworld fast travel will be done using the fast travel points. These pillars will be found across the world with a bright orange glow around them.

Once you walk up to them and interact with them they will change to a blue light instead. All fast travel points are connected, and you can instantly travel to them by clicking on the blue pillar with wings symbol on your map. You can open the map using the M key on keyboard and mouse.

If you spot a fast travel point but do not interact with it, it will not be available for fast travel and will appear grey on your map.

Palbox fast travel

Besides the fast travel pillars, you can also fast travel directly to and from your Palbox. Your Palbox is the centre of your base, and you can place it wherever you want, making it a portable fast-travel location. As you level up your base, you can unlock more base locations. You can strategically scatter these across Palpagos Island for convenient, fast travel spots on top of their regular utility.

Respawn fast travel

Lastly, we have an unorthodox method of fast travel. When you die, you get to see an overview of Palpagos Island, where you can choose whichever respawn location you want. If you store all your items and let yourself get killed, it essentially lets you travel to any of these locations and explore them freely. The respawn points are usually located near teleporters, so they're quite convenient for exploring far-off corners of the map.
