Is third person good in Modern Warfare 3 zombies?

There are some compelling reasons to swap to third-person rather than stay in first-person for Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Since Zombies are primarily melee enemies, they will all be getting up close and personal to damage you. This means your back is a vulnerable target.

Third-person allows you to see threats near your back a lot more easily. Not only will you be able to see where you're being attacked from, but you'll also be able to identify the type of zombie attacking you. This is ideal, as nobody wants to turn around and be surprised by an unexpected undead assailant.

One downside of third-person is that the constant shoulder switching can become a hassle. Most CoD players are used to first-person, so it will also require a bit of getting used to.

How to turn on third-person in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?

You can toggle between third-person and first-person in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies on consoles instantly by pressing the down button on the controller D-pad. This allows you to change your playstyle depending on the situation you're in and allows for a bunch of flexibility.

For PC, you need to hit the ESC key to pause the game and then select the "Switch to third person" option at the top of the menu on the right side. If you're playing using a controller on a PC, you can simply press the down button on the D-pad instead, as it's a lot more convenient.
