Attention is already starting to switch towards the Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 release date, much to the excitement of fans.

Season 3 of Call of Duty was one of the biggest updates of the Modern Warfare 3 cycle and there's every chance Season 4 delivers plenty more content before all eyes start pointing towards what Call of Duty 2024 has in store.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 release date estimate

Thanks to the battle pass countdown timer, we expect Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 to commence on May 29, 2024. Despite Sledgehammer Games not confirming any start date, the end of May coincides with the eight-week seasons that typically take place throughout the year.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 weapons

Sledgehammer Games hasn't shared any official intel on the weaponry arriving in Season 4 but dataminers have uncovered some interesting items hidden within the game files. If leaks are to be believed, legacy weapons in the form of the STG44, Kar98k, and SPAS-12 are on their way back.

However, the leak didn't reveal when they'd be returning but there's a chance Season 4 acts as the perfect opportunity to add the assault rifle, sniper, and shotgun into the arsenal. As always, take leaks with a pinch of salt until official confirmation appears.
