After testing various Expedite 12 attachments in the gunsmith, we've settled on a set of five that's perfect for fast reaction times and maximum impact.
- Barrel: 18.5" Emperor Barrel
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Stock: Bryson Reverb-55 Stock
- Underbarrel: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop
- Rear Grip/Comb: Padded Shotgun Comb
The damage of the Expedite 12 is already high so we've opted for the 18.5" Emperor Barrel for faster aim-down sight and movement speeds. Alongside the VLK LZR 7MW and FTAC MSP-98 Handstop, it's very easy to navigate around the map as fast as possible.
To reduce recoil, the Bryson Reverb-55 Stock comes into its own, making the Expedite 12 much easier to control in the heat of battle. Lastly, the Padded Shotgun Comb also reduces kick in addition to any idle sway that could impact your accuracy.

When it comes to perks for our Expedite 12 loadout, we've gone for those that prioritise movement speed and your ability to zip around the map. Infantry and Commando are perfect for increasing your Tactical Sprint length and replenish ammo as you run, respectively.
Tac Mask is perfect for avoiding the impacts of Flash Grenades and other disorienting equipment, meaning you can still land shots while avoiding any slowdown. Lastly, Lightweight is perfect for moving faster across the board, which is never bad when you've got a one-shot weapon in your hands.

- Tactical: Stun Grenade
For equipment, Semtex is preferable over the regular Frag Grenade in this loadout. Since it sticks to its destination, there's no chance if you accidentally sprinting right into the blast zone, which could be possible given the speed-altering perks we've chosen.
The Stun Grenade is a reliable favourite, allowing you to temporarily incapacitate enemies to take them out while they can't even defend themselves.
Is the Modern Warfare 3 Expedite 12 meta?
While shotguns rarely tend to penetrate the meta in Call of Duty games, there is a good chance the Expedite 12 could creep its way into the forefront. Given how effective it can be for landing killer shots, and how useful it can be if you hone a high-mobility build, you can shred on smaller maps and close-quarters encounters.
