Nothing says love like beating your opponents in Marvel Snap, with the Marvel Snap Valentine's Event for 2024, you can earn those Cosmic Cubes with a variety of Power Couples, in what Second Dinner is calling an "Imbalance Patch". But what are the Power Couples for this limited-time event, and how does it work?
Currently, the Marvel Snap Galactic Carnival event is offering plenty of login and free rewards for players to earn, including some Marvel Snap Gold. But with the special Valentine's Event, you should shelve that best Marvel Snap destroy deck, and try out some decks with the latest Power Couples in.
Marvel Snap Valentine's Event and Power Couples explained
Power Couples are a temporary text added to certain cards during the Marvel Snap Valentine's Event. If you play one member of a Power Couple, the other card gets bonus power and vice versa.
For example, if you play Angela on the board, Sera will get +1 Power wherever she is (deck, hand, or in play). When you finally play Sera, Angela will also get +1 Power too. There's various Power Couples too, most of which will pair well together when played.
The current Power Couples and their associated boosts are:
- Angela & Sera: +1 Power
- Black Panther & Nakia: +1 Power
- Captain America & Agent 13: +2 Power
- Gambit & Rogue: +2 Power
- Invisible Woman & Mr. Fantastic: +2 Power
- Iron Man & Rescue: +1 Power
- Miles Morales & Ghost-Spider: +1 Power
- She-Hulk & Daredevil: +2 Power
- Star-Lord & Gamora: +1 Power
- Vision & Scarlet Witch: +1 Power
Each card has a temporary pink text called "Power Couples" when you view them, however, this will be removed once the event ends.
Marvel Snap Valentine's Event end date
The end date for the current Marvel Snap Valentine's Week Event is February 20, 2024, at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM GMT, or one hour before the daily reset time on the date.
Since the event started on February 13, this means that the event is lasting a full week, ending at the same time that it started. If you're enjoying the festivities, you might want to try the best Marvel Snap Black Swan deck for the current season, or try the best Marvel Snap Cull Obsidian deck if you're playing the latest card.
