If you are a student at Hogwarts then you will need to get your Wizard’s Field Guide. Fortunately, you will receive it from Matilda Weasley early on in the game.

Basically, the Wizard’s Field Guide in Hogwarts Legacy works like some kind of a main menu. With its help, you will be able to access the settings menu, your character's inventory, journal, and more.

The Wizard’s Field Guide is home to some important things. Not only will it show your level and progress, but various other things about your character. They are:

• Gear – If you click on this menu you will open the Gear screen. There you will find all equipped and not equipped items.
• Inventory – This menu works like the Gear menu but it allows you to look at your consumable items and other things, such as potions and ingredients.

• Collections – The function of this menu has not been revealed yet.
• Challenges – In this menu, you can check your challenges. These are divided into five categories: Quests, Combat, Room of Requirement, Exploration, and Field Guide Pages.
