How to find Helldivers 2 Hunters

Fortunately, finding Hunters is not difficult, and you can do it almost from the very beginning of the game. This type of enemy belongs to the Terminid system, whose territories are marked in orange on the Galactic War table. Thus, all you need to do is visit one of the planets located in the orange section and thoroughly explore it.

It is not difficult to meet Hunters, given that this type of enemy usually moves in groups. Just travel around the planet and eventually, you will encounter them. Identifying them is easy, as Hunters are large white insect-like creatures with small orange wings located in the area of their head. They rapidly move on four legs, so take this into account before going hunting.

They can also often be found in Bug Breaches, Bug Nest, and Patrol, so you can look for them there as well. If you'd like, you can change the game difficulty to a higher level to trigger the spawn of these enemies in larger numbers, but this way, it will be more difficult to defeat them.

How to kill Helldivers 2 Hunters

Hunters are dangerous enemies because they usually move in groups and are very fast creatures. Their main drawback and advantage for you is their low HP, so the more powerful your weapon is, the easier and faster you can kill them. Still, as soon as you start fighting, or at least get spotted by one of the Hunters, they will all attack you. The best way to deal with them is to use explosives. This way, with the right strategic positioning, you can quickly and easily defeat even an entire colony of Hunters before they get to you.

However, the speed of these enemies is their main advantage, so they will constantly try to get closer to you to deal lethal damage. During a fight, the entire group will gradually surround you, which can be a problem if you are slow to react or ignore others while focusing on one target. If you find yourself in such a situation, just move away from the enemies and shoot those who are close to you. If one of them approaches you, use a melee attack to temporarily stun the enemy and have time to retreat. Then, follow this strategy all over again until you kill them all.
