Boss Quests

By far the best way to level up is to repeat the strongest boss quest available to you from the quest counter. You unlock the Quest Counter after Episode 1 and can take on increasingly tougher boss quests here. While there are other quests available here, the boss quests are by far the most efficient when it comes to levelling up fast and gaining EXP.

Learn a boss's patterns and make quick work of it for a giant chunk of EXP. Even better if you can master how to get an S++ on the quest. Even weakling bosses you can deal with in under a minute give respectable EXP.

Survival Quests

Next up we have the survival quests which the game claims are the best for gaining experience and mastery points. Unlike Boss quests, survival quests take longer and have you face against unending waves of enemies.

You can perform Overkills here to rack up Mastery Points quickly if your level is already high enough. Plus, the EXP amount gained is quite decent as well. If you get bored of boss killing and want to try your team against a horde of enemies, go with Survival Quests to level up.

Main story

Last but not least, the most important method to level up quickly is by playing through the main story. However, the reason might not be what you think. While it's true that main story bosses give a ton of EXP and almost always guarantee level-ups, the real benefit of making main story progress is that you unlock more quests at the Quest Counter.

Use Fast Learner Sigil

The Fast Learner Sigil allows you to increase EXP gains for a character. It's perfect if one of the characters in your party is lagging behind in levels and you want them to catch up quickly. You can stack these up to level 8 for an 8% EXP bonus.
