With 20 new boss fights being added in God of War Ragnarok's new free DLC, there's plenty to be unpacked. Join us as we go through all the new bosses in the Valhalla DLC for the game.

God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla bosses

Below, we've got a list of all the new Valhalla bosses in God of War Ragnarok, alongside a brief description of who they are.

  • Fiske - the einherjar captain
  • Dreki - the draconic crocodile
  • Tyr (first fight) - the hoplite (Greek) god of war
  • Oluf Nautson - the kol-raider chief
  • Miklimunnr - the fire troll
  • The Hateful - the hellish draugr
  • Tyr (second fight) - the cuāuhocēlōtl (Aztec) god of war
  • Modi - the god of courage
  • Vali the Oath Guard - the devoted traveller
  • Alva - the light elf queen
  • Blatonn - the savage wulver
  • Tyr (third fight) - the machimoi (Egyptian) god of war
  • Magni - the god of might
  • Ormstunga - the fierce grim
  • Tyr (fourth fight) - the samurai (Japanese) god of war
  • Hardrefill the Callous - the berserker swordsman
  • Fraekni the Zealous - the berserker axewoman
  • King Hrolf Kraki - the berserker king
  • Beigadr the Feared - the lightning berserker
  • Hjalti the Stolid - the twin-hatchet berserker

Aside from what we've listed here, there are actually more fights with Tyr that can be done after beating him for the fourth time. However, these matches are composed of random combinations of the four different regional forms that he'll take in each of his mainline boss fights. Therefore, it doesn't really count as a unique boss fight in its own right, so we haven't included them here.
