In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of unlocking all swimsuits for all characters in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. While this is a fun and rewarding activity, it can be at times tedious, but anyway, let's get to it.

How to unlock swimsuits in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

First things first, to be able to dress the characters in their beach attire, you need to reach Chapter 6 "Fool's Paradise" where Cloud and the gang arrive at the summer coastal resort Costa del Sol.

Just like in the original 1997 game, this is a very fun and relaxing place, but here it's blown out of every proportion, so besides the beach, you have heaps of other minigames and activities that didn't exist in the old game - just like the ability to dress characters in swimsuits.

Follow the main storyline of Chapter 6, which will lead you to the vendor located at the marked location below.

Here you can purchase the following costumes:

Cloud

• Ocean Chocobo (Blue shirt)
• Wild Surf (Surf shorts only)

Tifa

• Majestic Glamour (Daisy Dukes)
• Shining Spirit (That's the one you’re after!)

Aerith

• Floral Delight (A more casual summer outfit with a long summer dress)
• Pink Mermaid (Short pink skirt and a top)

Costumes can be purchased with prize tickets that you'll need to earn by playing mini-games in Costa del Sol, with each costing 3 tickets. This part of Chapter 6 is divided into two phases.

Initially, you'll play as Cloud, who can earn tickets in his mini-games, which can only be used for his costumes. Later, in the segment where you play as a two-girl party of Aerith and Tifa, you can earn tickets for purchasing costumes for them through their mini-games.

All mini-games are marked on the Costa del Sol map, so go and have fun. There are so many mini-games here, including everything from piano performances, riding and returning the Segway-like Wheelies, shooting galleries, as well as a Rocket League-inspired football game where you play as Red XIII, and much more.

If some of these mini-games prove challenging, you can always try others. It's not that difficult to gather 6 tickets per character as it can be done in a relatively short amount of time, it’s not a grind by any means.

As for the other characters, Yuffie will receive her "Summer Orange" summer outfit by default, just like Barret will get his "Junon Naval Crew" outfit. Unfortunately, Red XIII and Cait Sith do not have summer outfits, at least for now.

You can dress characters in their swimsuits in the changing room located right next to the costume vendor. During the first playthrough of the game, these costumes can only be worn while in Costa Del Sol. Once you leave the area, the characters will revert to their default costumes.

After completing the game and playing post-game content with a cleared save file, you can choose these and all other costumes in the game and use them anywhere.
