There's never a dull moment in Fae Farm. From humble beginnings growing a bunch of vegetables to the end-game's scrambling to feed mythical creatures, the main quest is an eventful one. To help players satisfy Flammo's appetite, this guide will reveal how to get five flame hearts for the 'Spicy Encounter' quest in Fae Farm.

Like the frost beets before them, flame hearts are a crop that has a complicated growing process. You'll need some special fertiliser and other items just for a chance of harvesting the flame hearts; it's a complicated process that this guide aims to make easier.

How to get flame heart in Fae Farm

To get your hands on Flame Hearts, you'll need to grow them from cauliflower seeds planted in a fae soil bed. That's not all, either - you'll need to use some magic crop swap fertilizer to transform the cauliflower into Flammo's favourite snack. For a quick step-by-step guide, follow the list below.

  1. Craft and place around 10 fae soil beds on your main farm
    1. Alternatively, place regular soil beds on your farm in the Fae realm
  2. Plant and water your 10 cauliflowers
  3. Use the magic crop swap fertilizer on each cauliflower
  4. Water the crops for the next several days until they're fully grown
  5. With any luck, you'll have at least five flame hearts ready to harvest!

While it may seem redundant to plant 10 cauliflowers, the fertilizer isn't guaranteed to transform them, so it's better to be safe than sorry. All in all, you can expect to spend 560 Florins on the seeds and fertilizer.

Growing flame hearts in the Fae realm is recommended as the less resource-intensive option. If you still plan to grow them in the human realm, however, note that you'll need to harvest plenty of leaves from Spriggans in your fae farm's barn, as they're a main part of the fae soil bed crafting recipe.
