Where to find Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon's Dogma 2

As you get into the latter half of Dragon's Dogma 2, you'll soon realize that you'll need to know how to get Wyrmslife Crystals.

These shiny red crystals are integral to the story of Dragon's Dogma 2 and are an extremely rare currency you can use to purchase incredible items.

However, Wyrmslife Crystals aren't something you find just lying around in chests in the world. Instead, they are procured from a very specific source in Dragon's Dogma 2. Below, you can see exactly how and where to find Wyrmslife Crystals and what to do with them. Dragon's Dogma 2 Wyrmslife Cyrstal locations

Wyrmslife Crystals are only obtained from killing lesser dragons in Dragon's Dogma 2. There are a few additional crystals you can find in various places, but killing lesser dragons is going to be your main source for them.

After a certain point in the story of Dragon's Dogma 2, your map will be marked with the locations of lesser dragons. This happens after speaking with Ambrosius outside of Bakbattahl and the gypsy to the north of Bakbattahl. There are at least four different lesser dragons you can get Wyrmslife Crystals from, and one of them is located at Dragonsbreath Tower, which is marked on your map as a primary quest objective.

Here, you'll run into a lesser dragon that drops 15 Wyrmslife Crystals, which is the exact amount you need to complete the quest for Ambrosius in Dragon's Dogma 2.

However, you might need more if you go to the Wyrmslife Crystal trader located outside of Bakbattahl on the cliffs. You had to visit this NPC during Ambrosius' quest line, and if you go back to him, you can trade extra crystals for armour, weapons, and other items.

You can find extra Wyrmslife Crystals in one of a few spots:

• Look inside the Wyrmslife Crystal trader's hut. Five crystals are sitting on the ground and you can pick them up.
• Where any dragon is, there are always one or two extra Wyrmslife Crystals lying around their area. You can also pick up some crystals after they fall off of a dragon while fighting them.

What are Dragon's Dogma 2 Wyrmslife Crystals used for?

First and foremost, once you have 15 Wyrmslife Crystals, return to Ambrosius at the Flamebearer Palace in Bakbattahl. That's how many you need to complete his quest line and receive the Godsway in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Any extra crystals you procure can solely be used at the Wyrmslife Crystal trader's shop. Here, you can purchase items such as Ferrystones and exclusive weapons and armour.

Just make sure you have already completed Ambrosius' questline before trading any with the NPC, as you don't want to have to fight another dragon to get more.

If you do end up needing more, you'll have to go to one of the lesser dragon locations you have yet to visit. You can obtain anywhere from 10-20 Wyrmslife Crystals from each dragon, so it's worthwhile to go if you want some extra items from the trader. Dragons are also a fantastic combat test for you and your Pawns in Dragon's Dogma 2.
