If you’re a fan of narrative-driven RPG games, then you’ll probably be looking for an answer to the following question – is Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Switch? This particular Dragon’s Dogma series challenges your controllable character (i.e. Arisen) to come up with creative solutions to in-game problems, as well as deal with mysterious otherworldly beings in a truly immersive fantasy world that’s full of different explorable elements.

Capcom is set to deliver the long-awaited sequel of this action-packed single-player game on March 22, 2024. With that said, it becomes pertinent to discuss the digital platforms and storefronts that Dragon's Dogma 2 will be available to play on when release day rolls around

Is Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately, we’re going to be the bearer of disappointing news. At the time of writing, Capcom has given no explicit indication that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be available to play on the Nintendo Switch.

So far, the developers of this game have only earmarked the release of this game for PC, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. Although the expanded version of the first Dragon’s Dogma game was eventually brought to Nintendo Switch users in April 2019, it doesn’t look like Capcom will follow a similar trajectory by making this game playable on this particular console anytime soon.

Will Dragon’s Dogma 2 release on Switch in the future?

There is reason for optimism despite the current facts. Although Capcom isn’t currently undertaking the development of Dragon’s Dogma 2 for the Nintendo Switch, it doesn’t mean that this open-world RPG game won’t get a release on this console in a couple of months or years.

A classic example of a game that received a Nintendo Switch version after the initial release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S is Hogwarts Legacy. This game was eventually ported down to the previous generation PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.

Therefore, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Capcom decides to earmark a Dragon’s Dogma 2 release on the Switch. Rest assured that we’ll be the first to let you know if this happens!
