Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter - Release date, card list, and more

Following the success of Villainous, Disney is bibbidi bobbidi booing its way into your tabletop game collection once again. Beloved characters from the company's animated history are now stars of their new trading card game, Lorcana. If this sounds like your bag, you'll want the rundown on Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter's release date and card list.

In addition to letting you in on the release date of The First Chapter, we'll also provide the full card list. There are 216 cards in total in this set: 204 standard and 12 ultra-rare Enchanted variants. Each card is infused with one of six forms of colour-coded magic called Ink. So, we've categorised each of them by their Ink and their category (character, action, or item).

When is the Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter release date?

You may be asking when the premier set of Disney's TCG will hit shelves. But Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter has actually already been released. Local games stores got a headstart, stocking Lorcana from August 18. It then became available at larger vendors on September 1, 2023.

Why is it still so difficult to find Lorcana starter kits, booster packs, and gift sets in stock? The problem is that the initial release of The First Chapter was met with such a high level of demand that it resulted in significant supply issues and an inflated secondhand market.

Still, all is not lost! With plans for a Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter reprint, you should be able to get your hands on the restock soon. To give you some insight into the cards you'll come across, our complete card list is below.
