Destiny 2 fans are going crazy after a new glitch lets them get any mix-and-match intrinsic traits on Legendary weapons, even letting them get Exotic perks. A lot of people are looking to get their hands on the Imperial Decree as a result.

The Imperial Decree features a powerful intrinsic trait that only shares with another shotgun, Ragnhild-2, and it's the Aggressive Frame, which increases the rate of fire after each kill.

What's more is that the Imperial Decree can be craftable, making it the perfect weapon to test this weapon on. So without further ado, let's tell you everything you need to know about the Imperial Decree shotgun in Destiny 2.

Imperial Decree in Destiny 2 - How to get

There's some good and bad news regarding how to get the Imperial Decree. The good news is that it can be a somewhat straightforward grind, as you need to focus Defiant Engrams to get a chance at landing an Imperial Decree. You'll need two Engrams and a 1k Glimmer for a chance to get the shotgun.

The bad news is that, if you missed Season of Defiance, you will need to buy the Deluxe version of Destiny 2 Lightfall to get access to this content, as Bungie does not sell the contents of seasons past after they're done.

If you do have Season of Defiance, then better get to grinding Defiant Battlegrounds. Naturally, you'll want to know how to extract the pattern of the gun, sadly, there's no way for you to secure red border weapons, and you need a total of five, so it might take a while before you're able to craft your own Imperial Decree.

Even if you can't get the pattern, the Imperial Decree is a really powerful shotgun, especially in PvP. These are the recommended perks you should be looking for:

  • Column 1: Smallbore, Corkscrew Rifling
  • Column 2: Appended Mag, Accurized Rounds, Assault Mag
  • Column 3: Threat Detector, Slideshot, Auto-Loading Holster
  • Column 4: Surrounded, Opening Shot, Snapshot Sights
