How to change your nickname in Call of Duty

You can change your nickname directly in the game and on the website. However, remember that Activision allows you to change your nickname only once every 6 months.

Also, the Activision team is actively fighting against bullying and toxicity, so please note that some words may not be available.

In-game method

You can change your nickname right in the game. Follow the instructions below.

• Open Call of Duty: Warzone or Modern Warfare 3.
• Go to the Options tab.
• Then go to Account.

Online method

You can also change your nickname using your browser. Here's what you need to do:
