Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora patch notes

As with any major release, developers will release patches to fix bugs, tweak details, and make sure their game is running as smoothly as possible, and this is the case for day one of Ubisoft's newest open-world title.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora launched on December 6, 2023, and with it comes an extensive patch that looks to flesh out the game. Ubisoft likely decided to hold back on this version of the game to avoid leaks, and with the likes of GTA 6's trailer being revealed way ahead of Rockstar's schedule, the fail-safe is a valid way of keeping the secrets of Pandora locked before its official release.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora patch notes

Day one patch - December 7, 2023

While we don't have any details on what the day one patch entails, we do know it's coming. After players received their hard copies of the game a few days before the official release, many were eager to download, boot up, and dive straight into the gorgeous world of Pandora.

However, upon doing so, players were met with a simple black screen detailing the release date of the game. Some wily PlayStation players attempted to change the date on their console to see if that could prove as a workaround, but the game doesn't load without this patch.

It's pretty ingenious of Ubisoft because by including a day one patch, the developer has avoided any unwanted leaks and spoilers. So keep your eyes peeled, as we'll be updating this patch notes hub with anything new from the developers, including the day one patch slated for release at the same time as the actual game.
