At Ubisoft Forward 2023, Ubisoft finally fully revealed their first foray into Assassin's Creed VR with Nexus VR. One question still remains, however. VR fans are wondering whether Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR is coming to PSVR 2.

While it features a new perspective for the series, letting you play as an assassin in first person for the first time, it features loads of familiar elements from the series. You'll be able to play as all of Ezio, Cassandra, and Connor as you revisit familiar locations and explore. I'm sure the parkour will take some getting used to in VR, but it'll be fun new way to play what has become in iconic series.

Is Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR coming to PSVR 2?

While it's an exciting release, the question still remains about who will be able to play it once it releases.

During its reveal, it was confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR will launch on Oculus Quest 2 headsets, but no other systems were mentioned.

That suggests that Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR will not be coming to PSVR 2, at least not at launch.

As is often the case with other big VR releases, though, there's always a chance that it comes to PlayStation VR 2 at a later date. Ubisoft will likely want the game to be played by as many VR fans as possible, and they're not usually a publisher who focuses on exclusive releases, so a 2024 release on PSVR 2 isn't out of the question.

Also, since the game can clearly run on Oculus Quest 2, there are no technical limitations that are holding the game back from releasing on PSVR 2.

If and when we hear anything about a Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR PSVR 2 release date, we'll be sure to update you. It's likely something we'll see in a future PlayStation Showcase or State of Play event, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

We'll have more Assassin's Creed guides and news coming your way following the Ubisoft Forward event this week and as we get closer to the release of Mirage .
