How does Haste work in AFK Journey?

The Haste stat in AFK Journey affects the speed at which characters perform their attacks. A higher Haste value means that that character will be able to pull off more attacks in a certain amount of time.

But if you take a closer look at the other character stats in the game, you may notice one that is simply called Attack Speed. So how exactly do Haste and Attack Speed differ from each other?

Both stats affect the quickness of your characters, but Attack Speed only affects normal attacks while Haste speeds up both normal attacks and offensive skills. Each point of Haste will increase the speed of a unit’s attacks by 1%.

How to increase Haste in AFK Journey

AFK Journey characters can increase their Haste as they level up but there are other ways to boost this stat. Some units, like Vala and Seth, can provide temporary buffs to Haste while in battle.

On that note, some characters can also reduce their target’s Haste to slow them down, so be sure to keep an eye out for enemies with that ability.
