GTA 6 To Have A Larger Focus On Single Player Elements


The next-generation of consoles is finally here and the rumors surrounding GTA 6 are growing even stronger.

GTA V will keep us occupied, for now, as it re-releases for the third time; but there is no doubt players are longing for the next installment.

After such a long time, we've heard that the GTA 6 story has been finished - but there is no news on a release date yet.

Speaking of the story, the latest heist released for GTA Online has drawn a lot of positives due to its larger focus on storytelling.

It appears this new model is going to be vital moving forward, as a new interview with Rockstar developers alludes to future titles. 

Here's what we know! 

 

Interview 

GQ posted an interview with Tarek Hamad and Scott Butchard from Rockstar Games during the week.

Tarek is the director of design productions at Rockstar's northern studio.

While Scott is one of the design directors. 

 While the interview touched on a lot of key subjects, such as how it was to develop this massive DLC all from the comfort of their homes.

One section, in particular, piqued the interest of GTA fans, as when talking about the new elements within the heist.

Hamad noted: 

I think you can see that with Online and I think going forward we’re going to inject more of that single-player element in there

As well, when asked whether or not future titles are going to incorporate these single-player elements more often, Tarek responded with Absolutely.

We will have to wait and see if we finally get some GTA 6 news this year!
