Genshin Impact has a variety of World Quests that provide insightful information about the many regions of Teyvat and the characters living in it. Some of them are hidden and only appear under certain conditions, and some others are locked behind Adventure Rank and Main Story progression, but all of them reward the player with useful items such as large amounts of Mora, Ascension Materials, and even Primogems.
The Tree who Stands Alone World Quest Walkthrough
To unlock this quest, you need to talk to Yuan Hong in Mingyun Village, as depicted below:
Look around Mingyun Village and go to the house facing the billboard, where you will find some "Lost Notes". You need to read these notes since they trigger the spawning of the four parts of the father’s will and the matching four markers on the map shown below:
Look for the first will. It’ll be to the south, in a cave guarded by a hilichurl standing in front of an explosive barrel.
The second will is in a cave to the east, with three hilichurls outside the entrance. If you already unlocked the nearby Exquisite Chest they were guarding, no hilichurls will appear.
The third will is in a cave to the north, with a hilichurl and three geo slimes inside. You can either fight them or skip this battle entirely by swimming past them.
The fourth will is in a cave to the west with two entrances. The southern entrance has three Electro Cicins guarding an Exquisite Chest. The northern entrance has a Blazing Axe Mitachurl and three hilichurls guarding an Exquisite Chest. If you already unlocked these chests, no enemies will appear. A Geoculus can also be collected.
Finally, the treasure is at the base of a large tree, where four Treasure Hoarders will spawn when you approach it. Defeat them and collect the treasure, after which you will unlock the achievement “Trees Should Blend Their Roots" and “Shade, For That Is Where the Home Is Made”.
