Genshin Impact 1.6 is now live and one of the biggest events introduced by the update is the Midsummer Island Adventure Photo Contest.
With the update being heavily themed with the summer vibe, players can participate in this event to gain rewards, as well as to capture and share their in-game experiences on social media.

The Midsummer Island Adventure Photo Contest commenced yesterday, June 9, and will run until June 30, 2021. The winners will be announced on July 15, 2021.
Genshin Impact Midsummer Island Adventure Photo Contest Mechanics
The event will only take place on Twitter. Players must post their entries on the social media site along with the hashtag #GenshinIslands.
The photos must be original and should be taken on any of the newly introduced islands in Genshin Impact 1.6. It should be a creative piece of art showcasing the islands from 1.6. Players may submit multiple entries, but only one prize will be given to them.
Genshin Impact Midsummer Island Adventure Photo Contest Rewards
The winners will be determined by the project team of the game. There will be five special prize winners who will receive a Paimon doll and 600 primogems, 18 runners-up who will be rewarded with a random character portrait phone stand, and 300 primogems, and 50 winners who will receive a Discord Advanced Nitro subscription worth $9.99 (£7.08).
