Genshin Impact World Quest: The Chi of Yore Walkthrough and Rewards

Genshin Impact has a variety of World Quests that provide insightful information about the many regions of Teyvat and the characters living in it. Some of them are hidden and only appear under certain conditions, and some others are locked behind Adventure Rank and Main Story progression, but all of them reward the player with useful items such as large amounts of Mora, Ascension Materials, and even Primogems.

The Chi of Yore World Quest Walkthrough

To unlock this quest, you need to talk to Yan'er near the ruin in Bishui Plain, as depicted below:

Investigate the ruin, where you will need to defeat the Ruin Hunter to read the "Incomplete writing". Find the 3 strange stones, they will be surrounded by large chunks of amber. Open the Precious Chest that spawns close to the "Incomplete writing" and you will receive the Collected Fragment.

Go to Qingce Village and investigate, first asking the locals and then Granny Ruoxin about the fragments. Search near the Geo Statues shown in the map below, and activate them in the following order: North, South-East, North-West, North-East, South-West. You will receive the Collected Fragment.

Go to the highest point of Qingce Village (shown in the map below) to search for more fragments, and activate the statues in order, starting from the one facing Stormterror's Lair as the 1st, then go clockwise for the 3rd, 4th, and 6th. You will receive the Collected Fragment.

Decipher the fragment and find a way into the vault. Once there you need to defeat Treasure Hoarders, and activating the mechanism in the center of the room will spawn three waves of Ruin Guards and Ruin Hunters. After defeating them continue to the back of the room to find 1 Luxurious, 1 Precious, 2 Exquisite, and 2 Common Chests. There is also a Geoculus and a Seelie in the room. Head to Qingce Village and report to Granny Ruoxin to complete the quest.

You will get an achievement and the following rewards:

• Adventure EXP Points
• 50 Primogems
• 1 Liyue Shrine of Depths Key
