With the release of Tears of the Kingdom now within touching distance, Legend of Zelda fans are desperately counting down the days until they can take to the picturesque plains of Hyrule again.

For those Nintendo stans who’ve made it through the past few weeks desperately bingeing Breath of the Wild challenge runs and getting into intense debates about Ganondorf’s appearance, Friday simply can’t come soon enough.

In fact, a bunch of them are already taking to Reddit to reveal their plans for the big day.

Are you planning to delve into Tears of the Kingdom as soon as it releases?

Their array of Zelda-based arrangements are the subject of a bunch of recent threads on the subreddit r/zelda, one of which was kicked off by a meme from user TheFanGameCreator, who declared: “We're almost there everyone! Home stretch!”

“I have the day booked off.” responded user Bazzatron, adding: “I have all my pro controllers charged. I have the local takeout company on speed dial and some cash by the front door. Nothing short of the appearance of malice incarnate is keeping me from enjoying this.”

In another thread, user Wildeye-eleven went even further, revealing: “I put my two weeks notice in. Tears of the Kingdom is unrelated but you better believe I’m going to use this down time between jobs to play (it) to an unhealthy degree. I’m ready!”

On the other hand, user otherwisesad lamented: “A moment of silence for me, please. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding on Friday and have to be at the venue at 10 AM to start getting ready. The actual wedding is at night, and I will be busy from morning until midnight. Enjoy the first day Zelda experience on my behalf, y’all.”
