You can't wait to whip the truth out of your enemies? Well, we have good news since, the Lasso of Truth will be featured in Monolith's Wonder Woman game. That is according to a leak from Shpeshal Nick at least. But what about forcing them to tell the truth?

We are still not sure if there is going to be an actual "truth" mechanic, but it would be definitely strange to leave it out. Either way, according to Shpeshal it will definitely feel good to use the Lasso of Truth, or Lariat. Monolith's game definitely plays similarly to God of War, featuring loot drops like boots and braces.

But the Lasso won't be the only weird Wonder Woman tool in the game. Apparently, she will be able to use her infamous invisible jet. It will be used for fast travel, apparently, but we are not sure if we will see our main woman just sitting around in the air while she jets around different places around the map.

Nick also says the game currently runs at 30 FPS, but Monolith is thinking about featuring a 60FPS performance mode. Overall, the game looks quite similar to Gotham Knights, "if not even better". Wonder Woman can slide around, jump, leap and dash in a nice smooth way.

Monolith announced the game in December 2021, and they've been working on it since. While there's still no release date in sight, we do know the game will feature an entirely original story. The developers told us players will "become Diana of Themyscira in the fight to unite her Amazon family and the humans from the modern world".

While, this won't be a movie adaptation of any kind. This means no Gal Godot, but also more freedom in writing a brand new story. We will wait for more news on this game soon, hopefully we won't have to use the Lasso of Truth on the developers to ask them for a release date...
