The arrival of TimTheTatman and Nickmercs skins to Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 was a significant milestone in the history of the FPS franchise. For the very first time, cosmetic items based on some popular streamers and content creators were available to purchase, much to the delight of fans.

Though, with Season 4 right around the corner, Nickmercs’ skin has recently been removed from the Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 stores, following some controversial anti-LGBTQ+ comments.

Now, TimTheTatman has asked Activision to remove his bundle from the in-game store, as a mark of solidarity with his friend.

Where is the TimTheTatman Call of Duty bundle?

On June 11, 2023, Tim took to Twitter in a show of support for Nickmercs and requested the Call of Duty publisher to take his playable Operator out of multiplayer and the battle royale.

“It feels wrong for me to have mine and him no longer have his. In support of my friend, please remove the TimTheTatman bundle,” stated the streamer. A few hours later, an Activision representative confirmed the departure of the bundle.

“At Tim’s request, we have removed the TimTheTatman Operator bundle from the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone store.” While many are still left frustrated by the nature of the comments made by Nickmercs, others have commended Tim for the decision. “This is what true friendship looks like,” comments one member of the community.

It’s unclear if the TimTheTatman bundle will ever return to multiplayer or the battle royale anytime soon. For those that have already obtained the bundle in the final weeks of Season 3, they can continue using the skins, but those that want to purchase it are fresh out of luck.

The removal of TimTheTatman's bundle from Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 could possibly mark the end of content creators appearing in Call of Duty, which would be a real shame for others looking to make their mark on the FPS series.
