Valorant's newest agent leaked ahead of launch

Eagle-eyed Valorant fans got a sneak peek at the upcoming agent, Clove, thanks to a leaked gameplay clip. This short video offers a glimpse at Agent 25's abilities before Riot Games' intended reveal at the VCT Masters Madrid Grand Finals.

The leak surfaced on a YouTube short by German content creator KennToGo, later shared by the popular Valorant information account ValorIntel on Twitter. While the clip only shows 44 seconds of gameplay, it's enough to pique players' interest.

From the leaked footage, Clove appears to possess a powerful self-revive ultimate ability. After being eliminated, a voice line announces "back like I never left," followed by the character's body rematerializing.

The video depicts Clove manipulating a map interface to strategically deploy smoke clouds. While the exact range and deployment distance remain unclear, it's evident that Clove excels at supporting teammates by controlling enemy sightlines.

Additionally, Clove wields an energy sphere capable of suppressing or even blinding enemies. The full effect of this ability is yet to be revealed.

Despite the limited scope of the leak, fans are already buzzing with excitement about Clove. Comments like "actually looks insane, such a cool smoke placement screen as well as the self res" highlight the anticipation surrounding the new agent.

While the leak provides a taste of Clove's capabilities, the full unveiling will take place during the VCT Masters Madrid Grand Finals. Fans can tune in to the official Twitch or YouTube streams on Sunday, March 24th at 8 AM US PT to witness the official debut of Agent 25 and a comprehensive showcase of Clove's abilities.
