The Game Awards Return As An In-Person Event This December

Geoff Keighley's confirmed that The Game Awards 20221 will be an in-person event. Taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 9, that'll be live streamed globally.

Last year's event didn't feature a live audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though with a global vaccination rollout, live events are slowly returning. Accordingly, The Game Awards will return to its original setup, though it's unclear if they'll allow a full capacity or limit the number of attendees.
