Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game Arrives On Xbox Game Pass Next Month

It's been 25 years since Warner Bros. first graced our lives with Space Jam. Offering a crossover between Looney Tunes and Michael Jordan, many still hold this basketball film in high regard, and now a sequel's on the way. Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game Arrives On Xbox Game Pass Next Month

Published and developed by Digital Eclipse, that's due to launch on July 15, 2021, one day before the film arrives. Available for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, you can check out the Microsoft Store listing, and we've got a full outline on what to expect:

While plotting to have his Goon Squad square off against LeBron and the Tune Squad in a high-stakes, high-tech basketball game, Al-G locks himself away in a hidden area of cyberspace. If LeBron, Bugs Bunny, and Lola Bunny can find all three pieces of the 'Legacy Code,' they can use it to open up Al-G's secret lair. But standing in their way is the rogue AI's robot army... and members of the Goon Squad, The Brow and White Mamba.

This follows on from the results of an Xbox fan competition last December, where Microsoft announced that it was teaming up with Warner Bros. to give two fans a chance to see their idea brought to life. That was won by "Narayan of India and Ricky of the U.S", and it'll launch day one for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
