Scarlet Nexus Launches In June, Anime Revealed

Scarlet Nexus, Bandai Namco's new action RPG, will be launching on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC on June 25th, 2021.

Revealing a new trailer, the publisher also confirmed that the game will be the basis for a forthcoming Scarlet Nexus anime series, too.

Kasane Randall, the playable character showcased in the trailer, is one of two protagonists. The other, Yuito Sumeragi, will also be playable, and each will have their own campaign.

Both have psychokinesis abilities, too, meaning they can throw elements of their environment around in the middle of combat.

As for the game's anime, it'll be produced by Sunrise Inc and available via Funimation.

"In 2020 of the solar calendar, grotesque organisms called Others have begun eating people. To take down this new enemy, the Other Suppression Force is formed."
