Rockstar Have Made All Of Max Payne 3 And L.A. Noire's DLC Free On PC

Rockstar's having an odd day right now. After accidentally delisting their entire library for several hours, they soon brought it back online within a few hours. Notably, they briefly re-added 2003's Midnight Club 2 by mistake - a game delisted in early 2018 - and have since taken it back offline.

Now though, we've got the reason to why this occurred. Despite releasing back in 2011 and 2012, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 both received surprise new updates yesterday on PC, but for fans, its been a mixed blessing.

Rockstar Have Made All Of Max Payne 3 And L.A. Noire's DLC Free On Steam

The good news? PC versions now contain all previously released DLC for both games free of charge, instead of listing them separately.

The bad news? Both patches remove support for 32-bit operating systems, which means they're no longer accessible for some players, and that's caused a few negative Steam reviews.

For L.A. Noire, this update only applies to the original release, meaning The VR Case Files hasn't been touched, and you can find the full patch notes here.
