The latest Mystery Gift Pokémon has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and is now available for trainers to add to their party. Players can now claim a special Revavroom, owned by Team Star themselves.

By entering the code TEAMSTAR into their games, players can get their hands on "Revavroom the Grumpy" for a limited time, from now until October 31, 2024. The release of this Mystery Gift comes off the back of the appearance of a grumpy Revavroom in episode three of the Pokémon: Paldean Winds animated series.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Steel- and Poison-type Revavroom is a favourite amongst Team Star members. This particular Revavroom is unique due to its 'Peeved Mark', which bestows it the title "Revavroom the Grumpy". Additionally, it boasts a Fighting Tera-type and the Overcoat ability. When players claim the Revavroom, it will be Level 50, and show its Original Trainer as Team Star.

Additionally, Revavroom the Grumpy comes with the moves Iron Head, Swagger, Poison Jab, and Tera Blast, which is a pretty good move set for the Pokémon. However, its nature and IVs are completely random, so the quality of each Revavroom will differ from player to player. To top it off, the unique Revavroom is stored in a Heal Ball.

To get this grumpy companion in-game, you can follow our guide to claiming Mystery Gifts in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, by entering the passphrase TEAMSTAR into the appropriate menu. Following this, the Revavroom will join your party if there's space, or it'll go to your boxes if not.

Revavroom the Grumpy isn't the only Mystery Gift distribution that's come from the Paldean Winds series; previously, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players have been able to get their hands on some free Herba Mystica and a Cetitan, an Ice-type Pokémon. Both of these featured heavily in previous Paldean Winds episodes, and with the finale of the season expected in December, another Mystery Gift is expected when episode four releases.
