War Table 3: Launch Week - 2nd September
In a new War Table livestream on Tuesday, Crystal Dynamics showed off more of Marvel’s Avengers as a celebration of the game’s launch.
The developer said that due to the recent passing of Chadwick Boseman — the actor who brought the iconic Black Panther to life on the big screen — some of what got shown in the third War Table broadcast was altered out of respect.
What they did show included more of Ms. Marvel’s campaign story, Villain Sectors, SHIELD Vaults, Mega Hives, and post-launch hero Kate Bishop.

The game will feature a brand new story that is not related to the films we have seen in recent years.
The main premises of the story is after the events of "A-Day", where countless numbers of death and tragedy occur, superheroes including the Avengers are banned throughout the world.
However, they have to reassemble five years later due to desperate times.
You'll control the original Avengers cast including others yet to be revealed.

What Heroes Will Be Present?
From the above trailers and teases on the internet, we know for certain that these heroes will appear:
- Captain America
- Iron Man
- Black Widow
- Thor, Hulk
- Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan
However, this does not mean we are not going to see other heroes
Keep an eye out throughout the story as you never know who will show up during the game!
It has been confirmed we are going to encounter Task Master and Abomination throughout the game in some form of conflict.
Whether or not they are the main supervillain in the game is unknown as of now.
Beta, Early Access And Pre-Order Bonus
If you pre-order the game through select retailers you will receive beta access to the game.
The game launches on the 15th May, with beta access available to all platforms.
However, the PS4 will receive access 7 days earlier - it is unconfirmed when the beta will launch.
As the game isn't arriving until May, you would imagine it must come out at least a month beforehand; depending on how much Crystal Dynamics want to gain from the beta.
It is also likely to only include the A-Day Prologue sequence.
