Maneater 1.06 Patch Notes Improve Fast Travel and Data System

Maneater, the "SharkPG" that lets players live out their wildest "Jaws" inspired fantasies, has received a new patch.

1.06 doesn't feature huge updates, but with the game coming to PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, we'll take all the fixes we can get.

Maneater Update 1.06 Patch Notes

Note: on Xbox, the update is 1.0.10.0.

The patch weighs in at around 1GB, and makes the following fixes:

  • Improvements have been made to the overall game stability. The fast travel system is now far more robust and this has fixed some related crashes.
  • Improvements have been made to the data system. These improvements mean players should be far less likely to lose save data. However, this does not include retroactive fixes for already broken save files

If you've been holding off on the game because of any worries about losing your data, this is the patch for you.

The game launched back in May, and has become something of a cult hit.

So, if you feel like stepping into the... fins (?) of a shark, it'll be the perfect complement to another watch of Jaws for Halloween.

The game will get a free upgrade to next-gen consoles in the coming week.
