This Fortnite bundle was made cheap as chips by Epic Games

Epic Games recently made a mistake in pricing one of their latest Fortnite bundles for the Hungary region, as it's way cheaper than the original cost.

The pack which was originally met with some pretty mixed reception was meant to go on sale for $9.99 / £7.69. However, if you live in the Hungary region it was available for the cheap cheap price of just $0.25.

An occurrence like this usually always happens due to an error and you should avail it as soon as possible before it gets fixed. Unsurprisingly, the bundle started selling like hotcakes in the Hungary region.

Players came together to figure out methods to get their Hungarian friends to gift them the bundle for cheap. However, since that method didn't work, everyone resorted to using VPNs instead.

If you used a VPN during the release window to change your location to Hungary and visited the Epic Games website, you could buy the bundle for the discounted cost of $0.25.

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on who you ask, Epic Games was quick to act and rectify this error. The quick response limited the number of people who were able to exploit this mistake. However, it serves as a pretty good reminder for players to remain on the lookout for these rare occasions.

For those unfamiliar, the Rocket Racing Fuse Starter Pack includes the following items:

• Fuse Vehicle Body
• 5 Fuse Decals (Flames, Lightning, Stripes, Wings, Formline)
• Matius Outfit (with LEGO Style)

It also came with the Fuse Quest Bundle which allowed you to complete quests in Rocket Racing to earn the following rewards:

• 13 Standard Vehicle Colors
• 2 Fuse Decals (Fluorescent & Whip-Tail)
• Silver Rush Matius Outfit Style
• Gold Vehicle Color

Players mostly gave a pretty mixed reception to the original price of the bundle and a common complaint emerged that the skin seemed too generic to be worth paying for.
