Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is one of this year’s most anticipated games, but it looks like online fans will need to mute certain keywords soon. It seems that the RPG has gotten into the hands of some players, as spoilers are already making their way around social media.

According to a report from Kotaku, spoilers for Rebirth have been making their way around Reddit, Twitter, and TikTok. Considering how close the game is to its release, it is pretty disappointing to see spoilers already making their way online.

While it might sound easy to run into Final Fantasy VII Rebirth spoilers, fans can avoid them pretty easily if they mute keywords and avoid certain sites altogether. Usually, it’s the fans who are actively looking for spoilers who get spoiled, but gamers should be careful.

Numerous fans have been theorizing about Rebirth and how its ending will change, especially since Remake hinted towards it. The fact Zack is still alive and the Whispers are still here could mean something completely different happens, which might be better or worse.

Square Enix has yet to respond to these leaks but fans have said what’s been shown has been pretty convincing. Numerous triple-A games have been getting leaked recently, something that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League fans are all too familiar with, so this is easy enough to believe.

These spoilers are annoying but they don’t change the fact that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is one of the most anticipated games coming out this month. Even if players run into some of the story spoilers, the massive world that can be explored should remedy that for some. While fans who played the demo are a little down on the graphics, the combat is still excellent and that should reel people in.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming to the PlayStation 5 on February 29. It was stated that the game will only be PlayStation exclusive until May, so a PC port sounds more than likely.
