Epic Games has released their 2021 Year in Review and if you've been following them in recent times, you'll know free weekly giveaways have been a core tenant of the Epic Games Store. If you're hoping to see those continue, good news, that'll continue into 2022.
Their free game giveaway per week began in 2019 and since then, they promised that'll continue until 2021. Now, as we move forward in 2022, Epic is staying true to their word, stating: "First up, we’re excited to confirm that weekly Free Games will continue in 2022."

Epic Games Store Will Still Have Free Games This 2022
Aside from this continuation, Epic addressed feedback they've received from players regarding Library and Download management, assuring everyone that they "will be actively addressing those in the coming year." As for when, that remains to be seen.

The ability to prioritize and queue selected games for downloads, more options to help you filter and organize your library, letting you see more of your games in the library view, and the functionality to view your library outside the launcher.
