EA Announce Official Dates for Battlefield Hardline Beta

Earlier today, Electronic Arts confirmed that the Battlefield Hardline multiplayer beta is set to launch on the 3rd February for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One users. The beta will be available until the 8th February and will present players with an opportunity to explore the “fresh new take” of the Battlefield franchise.

Within the beta, users will be able to inspect three individual maps and gamemodes. ‘Hotwire’ is set to incorporate a series of high-speed chases, as the ‘criminal’ team attempt to steal a list of marked cars while the cops try to repossess them. The new gamemode will be played on maps Downturn and Dust Bowl, with EA stressing excellent teamwork and precision driving as they keys to success.

Dust Bowl, a desert town renowned for its drug trafficking problems, will also host the fan favourite Battlefield mode Conquest. The third available map, Bank Job, welcomes Heist, a gamemode in which players appropriately attack and defend a bank vault.

In addition to this, Battlefield Hardline also introduces the new Hacker Mode. Similar to Commander in Battlefield 4, Hacker Mode takes surveillance to the next level as one player on each team takes control of local security cameras, providing their allies with enemy locations and specific areas of interest. Hacker mode will be playable on all modes in the beta.

As well as this, returning Battlefield 4 members will be issued with an extra perk, the Hardline Dog Tag. As long as you have a Battlefield 4 account and participate within the Battlefield Hardline beta, you will be awarded with the dog tag in the next patch for Battlefield.
