2022's Indie smash hit Cult of the Lamb continues to receive support from developers Massive Monster. Releasing soon, Sins of the Flesh is its 'biggest [update] yet', and set to grace all platforms on January 16, 2024.
The expansion (colloquially known as the 'sex update') promises "quests, features [and] improvements" alongside a "deliciously evil new resource that rewards those leaders prepared to yield to the Sins of the Flesh."
A trailer shared to the Devolver YouTube channel shows off some of the new content, while key features cover everything from new progression systems to a devastating blunderbuss weapon and more. Cult of the Lamb has proven to be a stand-out hit for Devolver, with the game reportedly reaching a million players in its first week alone.
The game's publisher went into more detail in a press release shared by Gematsu.

The update earned its nickname after the studio promised to add sex to the game in exchange for 300,000 followers by the end of 2023. At the time of writing, the account now sits at over 580,000 followers, and gamers are finally being paid their dues.
