Young Horses announced a new, free Bugsnax expansion called Bugsnax: The Isle of Bigsnax, set for release sometime early in 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Isle of Bigsnax introduces several new features and areas to explore, including a new biome with 100 challenges and 30 quests to overcome, You can access the new content whether you've finished the main game or not.

Journey to a mysterious new island where the Bugsnax are truly enormous! You’ll need to master new mechanics like the Shrink Spice, which can cut the giant Bugsnax down to a catchable size. Joining you are Chandlo, Floofty, Triffany, and Shelda, who will explore both the island’s long-forgotten history, and more of their own personal stories.
It's not Bugsnax without, well, Bugsnax though, and Young Horses has more of them. Isle of Bigsnax will add a dozen new Bugsnax to find and capture, but that's still not all.
The quirky critter catcher is also loading close to 200 new decorations into the expansion so you can turn your hut into the Bugsnax mansion of your dreams.
