Black Ops Cold War can take up 188 GB on Xbox Series

As reported by VGC, a new screenshot posted to Reddit has revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will take up about 188 GB of space on the new Xbox Series X and Series S.

Multiplayer takes up about 28 GB; Zombies mode takes up about 7.5 GB; Dead Ops Arcade is about 12 GB; HD textures take up about 38 GB; and ray-tracing data clocks in at about 12 GB.

So at the time the screenshot was taken, at least, a full install of Black Ops Cold War on next-gen Xboxes takes up 187.9 GB of storage.

As we reported about a week ago, Activision originally said that the game would take up about 133 GB on PlayStation 5 and 136 GB on the new next-gen Xbox consoles. But that number appears to have gone up.

The good news is that you’ll be able to selectively uninstall components of the game you don’t plan on using for a while, freeing up room for other games.

With the exception of the PlayStation 5, which launches on November 12, Cold War should be available to pre-load on your platform of choice by now.

The PS5 reportedly ships with about 667 GB of usable storage space. The Xbox Series X and Series S are said to have 802 GB and 364 GB of available space, respectively.
