Billie Eilish Is the Next Pop Star Coming to Fortnite

The leaks were true and Billie Eilish has been confirmed as the newest Fortnite ICON who will star in her own Fortnite Festival season, more specifically, season 3.

The news was revealed by Billie herself, uploading an Instagram story of her Fortnite skin on April 22 with the caption "tomorrow," confirming that Fortnite Festival Season 3 will kick off when patch v29.30 drops.

Billie Eilish's skin being confirmed potentially adds validity to the massive Fortnite 2024 roadmap that leaked last week, which spoiled collaborations with Pirates of the Caribbean, Metallica, and even a new Marvel-themed season that could introduce the Fantastic Four.

While music artists collaborating with Epic Games is nothing new, with the launch of Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game developed by industry veterans Harmonix, the collaborations have been taken to another level, as new artists get a whole season themed around them.

The first season brought R&B singer The Weeknd to the game, while season 2 was dedicated to pop star sensation Lady Gaga. Both seasons launched with a season pass that includes an exclusive skin only available via the pass.

Alongside the season pass exclusive skin, both The Weeknd and Lady Gaga had an alternate skin available to purchase via the Fortnite Item Shop. Expect Billie Eilish to receive the same treatment with two skins available once Fortnite Festival Season 3 launches.

As for the Jam Tracks available once the new season starts, the confirmed songs include "Bad Guy," "Therefore I Am," "All The Good Girls Go To Hell," "Happier Than Ever," and "Oxytocin."
