Amouranth reveals alleged abuse from husband

Twitch streamer Amouranth has disclosed that she’s married and alleged that her husband has been acting a controlling and abusive manner towards her.

During a stream on Sunday morning, Amouranth, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, stated that her husband has control over her finances, has forced her to stream for specific lengths of time and in specific manners, as well as pretend that she wasn’t in a relationship.

Since the posting of the stream, some of Siragusa’s fellow streamers have attempted to check up on her welfare.

As reported by PC Gamer, a number of clips from the stream have been posted to social media by Hunter Grooms, a producer at esports company The Guard, the first of which features a phone conversation between Siragusa and the man alleged to be her husband. During this clip, Siragusa suggests that he has threatened to kill her dogs unless she does a 24-hour long stream, which the man denies before calling her “a liar.”

In the second clip, Siragusa compares the situation to “living in a fancy prison”, suggests that her husband played a role in her getting involved in the hot tub streaming trend and claims that her proposals to go public with their relationship were turned down by her husband as he believed it would “ruin” their “business model”.

A third clip sees Siragusa suggest that her husband has previously threatened to leave her with only $1 million, taking the rest for himself, with the streamer alleging that this is possible because he possesses all of the login information required to access the funds.

The streamer also made public some alleged text chains between the pair which seemingly show her husband threatening her with various financial punishments if she doesn’t respond to a phone call from him.

In the time since the stream, some fellow creators have seemingly attempted to reach out to Siragusa to check on her wellbeing, with streamer Alinity suggesting during a livestream that police involved in the situation haven’t been able to provide her with any updates.

As of writing, Siragusa hasn’t streamed or posted to social media since making the allegations.
