While the general consensus of this being a silly free-to-play game isn’t wrong, it has a lot of interesting lore that tends to get ignored due to all the dancing and third-party characters.

Who Is The Scientist In Fortnite?

That’s the price to pay when your IP becomes popular but there are still fans who dig some of the story bits regarding the game’s original characters, like The Scientist.

One of the game’s coolest-looking characters, The Scientist of Fortnite doesn’t look like your run-of-the-mill scientist in a lab coat because he’s an alternate version of The Visitor, another one of the game’s more interesting characters.

While The Visitor is a member of The Seven, The Scientist is believed to be their leader since he created the rifts, bringing each member of Fortnite’s infamous group together during Fortnite’s The End event.

Seeing all of this stuff is pretty cool and the fact that Fortnite’s story has lent itself to plenty of media tie-ins, including comic books that have Batman team up with Fortnite characters, is pretty wild.

If anything, you have to praise how The Seven has captured the imagination of Fortnite fans and The Scientist will continue to be one of the game’s most intriguing members for being that group’s leader.

We’re sure more of the Fortnite lore, along with The Scientist and his plans with The Seven, will be explored in future seasons of the game.

It would be pretty cool to see The Scientist as a raid boss in the game’s future, along with being involved in the game’s Save the World mode, but that doesn’t look like it will be happening anytime soon.

Fortnite is available now on pretty much any gaming system, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
